To be successful in this role, the leader will be able to demonstrate a balance in guiding and influencing the vision of the overall Selling & Shipping team while at the same time be extremely comfortable doing actual hands-on analyses using tools & packages such as R, SPSS, Matlab etc. In addition to delivering insights on existing Product & Tech initiatives, successful leaders will come up with innovative product growth opportunities based on insights and create momentum behind them by bringing along senior leaders in the company. Successful candidates will have a strong background and experience in quantitative analysis, data mining and at the same time be able to clearly articulate complex ideas into clear, actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering leaders. Experience with building teams from scratch will be highly preferred.
Proven ability of using data driven decision and insights to drive product roadmaps and outcomes in leading technology companies.
Proven and demonstrated ability in building and mentoring high performance analytics teams.
Strong technical and quantitative background with Masters degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering. PhD degrees prefered.
Hands-on ability in using various tools and packages such as R, SPSS, Matlab, SQL etc.
