NVIDIA is seeking a Sales Director to lead the US Federal sales team. Position requires extensive sales experience and account management leadership with a proven track record of directing sales for the Federal market. This position will be responsible for leading and strategically aligning NVIDIA's diverse portfolio of Enterprise and Visual Computing solutions to grow our business. This position requires close collaboration with NVIDIA product marketing, solution architects, developer relations, and applied engineering to drive revenue. The candidate must deeply understand the account strategies, products & solutions, and requirements to create long term growth strategies. The candidate must have the ability to shift easily from working with C-level executives and government program managers to engineers both inside and outside the company.
You will lead the Federal team that has responsibility for all aspects of demand creation, co-selling, forecasting, sales management, training and education to end user customers, Independent Software Vendors and partners.
Grow revenue and market share for NVIDIA DGX-1, Tesla and GRID products
Build, manage and grow relationships within the Federal segment
Manage a complex sales process from initial conversation through closure, involving internal resources as necessary, and continue ongoing relationship for future selling opportunities.
Understand Federal ecosystem, map it and identify how our technology aligns to their problems
Ability to grasp, comprehend and articulate new technologies as it relates to NVIDIA products
Evangelize the use of NVIDIA products and technologies to end customers and partners
Build key accounts into strategic partners, and drive sustaining revenue
Work closely with OEM, SW, and research partners to build and execute go-to-market plans to accelerate growth and adoption NVIDIA technology
Define, drive and communicate product strategy for products and features specific to the needs of the Federal segment for the Tesla and GRID product teams
Effectively manage business as it relates to ongoing sales activity including pipeline forecasting, organizational mapping, contracts, proposals, legal
What we would like to see:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's/MBA degree a plus
8-10 years of relevant work history in the Federal segment
Direct experience working with the US federal government in a business development or sales role representing systems, software, or services
Proven record of exceeding revenue targets
A history of implementing successful long term technology partnerships with government agencies
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to do market assessments and make market driven recommendations
Deep knowledge and extensive experience of Federal sales, and driving adoption and growth of a technology-based solution
Contract negotiation and vendor management experience within the US federal government landscape
Passion for ecosystem development
Machine learning, data analytics, and artificial intelligence experience preferred
Candidates must work comfortably across all major internal functional areas (engineering, sales, marketing, executives), as well as external partners, customers, and content developers
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills are an essential requirement
Domestic travel required, preferred location; Greater Washington DC area.
