The Digital Director role will report into the Client Leader, Unilever and Head of Digital and be responsible for overseeing the digital strategy and managing the operational relationship on designated clients. The candidate will be managing a team of staff who execute, manage, and optimize the planning and buying strategy for client’s digital spending. This individual will be leading the market in driving best practice digital marketing solutions, while ensuring integration and communication with the wider Mindshare client leadership teams. The role bears the responsibility to ensuring that Mindshare is considered by clients to be their most valued digital marketing partner.

In three months:
Demonstrate understanding of the client business to gain insight on business challenges
Build relationships with the key decision makers at client side and within the company
Developed a deep understanding and begun to use the Mindshare planning product and tool
In six months:
Be recognized by key clients on demonstrating the digital leadership in terms of strategic planning, implementation, etc.

Responsibilities of the role:
Client Development
Client servicing and relationship management
Strategic client development of digital
Training & up-skilling clients
Demonstrate digital leadership across key clients
Deployment of best-in-class digital implementation across client portfolio
Quality Control & Best Practice Service Delivery
Long term digital strategy creation
Campaign strategy & planning, and integration
Gold Standard Implementation across all digital channels, including search and social
Deployment of best-in-market targeting & tracking tools
Oversee & benchmark buying performance
Assist in training & up-skilling of client account teams
Deployment of measurement frameworks across clients
Management, extraction & interpretation of clients’ digital performance data
Delivery of beyond-the-banner high value services, including: digital workshops; content solutions; performance marketing; social & mobile projects; competitor intelligence services
Sharing of best practice with the wider Interaction community
Development, deployment and management of client-publisher partnerships and Joint Business Plans
Understanding of Programmatic buying
Talent management
Constantly develop the team’s strategic, implementation and client management skills
Oversee the delivery and output of the digital team product
Work with Head of Digital to oversee and develop team individual’s career progression

What you will need:
6-8 years of digital experience (agency background preferred)
Ability to work in a matrix organization, managing complexity and challenges
Portfolio of strong work
An independent, confident, self-driven individual with excellent time management skills and highly responsible nature
