You will lead the global trade compliance function and team and act as the subject matter authority for trade compliance matters. You will be responsible for setting policy, providing counsel and coordinating all activities involved in export/import regulatory compliance including, but not limited to, customs valuation, HTS and ECCN product classifications, country of origin determination, export license applications and sanctioned party list screening.
Additionally, you will hold responsibility for customs-related operations worldwide, co-chair the NVIDIA Export Compliance Council, and establish annual export/import budget.
This position reports to Vice President, Legal.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in export/import compliance and custom-related operations required (MBA or JD a plus)
10+ years experience in compliance management with demonstrated experience leading compliance activities in a multi national company
15-20 years of international trade operations management with experience running compliance activities and team in a multi-national company
Knowledge of SAP GTS a plus
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Extraordinary oral and written communication, presentation and social skills
Demonstrated ability to bring together multiple diverse partners to achieve objectives required
Experience working with senior management and technical/engineering teams and ability to work well with and relate to company personnel at all levels
