The Director Global Marketing Business Management is driving the performance of Global Marketing. The position is part of the Global Marketing Operations team belonging to Global Marketing, within Global Consumer Experience. The role will be responsible for a newly formed team that consist of planning, financial performance, global agency relationship, analytics and regional alignment. The task is to secure a structured global marketing approach while helping to secure ROI on marketing spent centrally and regionally. Within analytics the task is also to build strong analytics capabilities for the future with the support of emerging AI technologies
The position reports to the Senior Director of Global Marketing Business Operations and is part of the Global Marketing management team.
Secure and build a strong performance analytics function that provides target setting and follow up on marketing KPIs and support markets with KPI dashboards and insights about current marketing performance to help identify best next actions. Also, build predictive analytics capabilities using AI tools.
Lead, manage, mentor and develop the Global Marketing Business Management Department (approx. 8 persons)
Secure a strong planning function responsible for the 5-year business plan, Master marketing plan, regional priority plans and the content delivery plan.
Secure strong financial performance follow-up function that together with performance analytics prove ROI of marketing and provides input to the ASP cycle plan
Secure and maintain a global agency relations function for Volvo/Global Marketing, working closely with key stakeholders centrally and regionally, Finance and Purchasing.
Secure regional alignment and governance function that maintain and support the different processes and foras.
Drive local and central requirements for updates, changes and new development through all owned digital properties. Work closely with markets, and internal stakeholders to be able to define a consolidated view of business needs.
Report on consolidated (global, regional, local) Marketing performance.
Required qualifications
University Master's degree in marketing, finance or similar.
Experience from management consulting or similar roles in larger companies.
Excellent ability to structure complex challenges.
Business acumen, financial control, and proven people management skills.
Cross-functional and integrated work experience, with high ability to co-operate and work in a team environment.
Market experience is highly desired.
