The Creative Services Director is responsible for overseeing the entire business model for Coca-Cola Studios in-house agency creative team. This includes strategy, business plan / budget, people leadership, process and workflows, setting agency-quality standards and ensuring we exceed our client’s satisfaction at all levels. This role ensures the execution of a wide range of creative projects including video, design, content and more. This role is also expected to review and approve creative work, drive solutions to inform project scope/estimates and understand resource allocation.
Managing, planning, analyzing, and developing solutions day-to-day to help our clients be successful while being able to envision the larger strategy and path forward is critical for this role. The person who fills this role will also be expected to be able to oversee creative briefs that clearly articulate the client’s objectives and success criteria to inform the work across Coca-Cola Studios.
Brand stewardship: ensure alignment of all creative execution to brand standards and guidelines. Work closely with Global Marketing to understand standards, guidelines and tools; steward with team and clients to guide usage of brands in executions. Ensure alignment of all development is aligned to Marketing IT standards and guidelines. Work closely with IT to understand technology standards for today and the future, and steward development accordingly;
Creative direction and strategy: Work with team to educate internal/external resources on creative/production processes and brand adherence. Lead productive brainstorming sessions and art direct internal/external creative teams in design and delivery of strategic creative initiatives; conduct quarterly reviews of projects to ensure creative solutions developed by internal/external teams. Stay current on trends and technologies that impact and improve all services;
Execution and process management: ensure effective and productive management routines (time tracking, reporting, estimating/scheduling, resourcing/forecasting) to maintain high utilization of creative teams and achieve high standard of error-free work. Work closely with other leaders to identify and manage preferred creative suppliers. Work with team to understand client needs, forecast resources needs and manage resources in cost effective manner. Ensure appropriate talent pool, whether internally or externally (contract or supplier) to meet client needs and expand services as appropriate.
Client engagement: work to assess client needs and provide solutions, respond to clients in a professional, responsive and client-centric manner, and consult with educate clients in manner that gains their support and engagement.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
Related Work Experience:
8+ years of in-house/agency management experience (creative lead, design manager, ACD, CD, etc.)
