We are looking for a leader that is as passionate as we are to set up and run a new business in India, one that ties our devices and services. This is a start-up opportunity, and as such, the leader will have to both deal with ambiguity, and scale to build up the business. The leader will come up with and drive the business strategy, own the P&L, and have responsibility for all go-to-market functions (product management, sales and business development).
This leader will develop and implement the overall Connectivity growth plan for India with the following objectives:
1. Develop and implement plans to launch new products and services in India
2. Develop break-through business models for connected devices and services in India
3. Work with the technology teams in the US and India to define and deliver features that are important for Indian customers.
4. Build a world class team and develop future leaders for our rapidly growing businesses
A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is a plus. The candidate should have the following experience.
· Has held executive role(s) in large firms and also been an entrepreneur
· Has led teams of at least 50 people
· Has managed a significant P&L and led multiple line and staff functions both on the revenue generating and cost sides
· Proven experience in leading and growing a consumer-facing service business in India, in telecom, mobile or wireless infrastructure
· Proven experience working internationally and managing teams and/or projects across regions
