The Director of Business Process Outsourcing and Services will report to the Head of Strategy, Global Business Services. The purpose of the job is to:
Participate in and contribute to the development and execution of Outsourcing and Global Business Services strategic plans. Responsible for Outsourcing objectives, outcomes, benefits and service delivery.
Work with Module and Function executive leadership team, and outsourcing advisor to develop and execute AIG’s outsourcing strategy, including SLA engagement, outsource provider selection & negotiation, fees and savings structures, and the governance / management of outsource providers post deal closure.
Develop best practice outsourcing framework for engagement such as RFI/RFP process, vendor selection, negotiation and migration.
Manage relationships and work with AIG Module and business leaders, and GBS executive team to successfully identify and execute on Outsourcing opportunities including RFI/RFP process, vendor selection, negotiation and migration.
Post-outsource governance e.g. vendor performance management, SLA and incentive structure management. This includes identifying operational / performance risks and mitigations, adjustments to agreements to meet ROI / delivery and performance objectives, in partnership with AIG Module and business leaders.

Bachelor's Degree with Post graduate degree, MBA or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 10 years experience
Practical experience with the full lifecycle of BPO transactions related to Financial Services
Subject matter expertise in the Outsourcing and/or Offshoring industry
Proven track record for management of a BPO engagement for the business function, i.e., IT, HR, Finance
Strong analytical skills including ability to use data to drive decision making
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Proven ability to lead, motivate and gain commitment from Module / Function Executive Leadership Team, senior management, direct reports and colleagues
Strong oral and written communications and influencing skills. Able to navigate a global organization, influence stakeholders and affect outcomes. Ability to gain trust and influence with limited direct authority
Ability to think outside the box, multi task and work well under pressure, to identify issues and work to resolve them in partnership with business leaders
