Social Media Creative Strategist Amazon Seattle

Success in this role requires seeing the big picture, defining creative briefs and creating them into ambitious plans and goals and executing daily at the highest level. You will need to understand the breadth and depth of Amazon's customers on social media, identify new scalable opportunities to engage with customers on social and maintain a high bar for content on Amazon.com social channels. You will build and execute programs to deliver these and quantify business results with data-driven analyses. You will need to be entrepreneurial and roll up your sleeves - we rarely use external agencies. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas, and establish best practices for Amazon and social marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Obsess over customers and how they engage with Amazon across social platforms
- Define creative briefs and collaborate with multiple teams to executive innovative social marketing campaigns.
- Build and execute plans and programs to deliver business strategy scale
- Serve as a social expert internally at Amazon and liaison externally with social platforms on their direction, best practices, and new opportunities
- Coordinate and collaborate with social marketers and teams across Amazon and externally with partners
Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's Degree

- 5+ years of demonstrated and progressive success, with substantial experience in social media, digital marketing, or product management for a consumer brand
- Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale internal cross-functional marketing programs
- Strong data analytics and reporting
- Willingness to wear whatever hat is necessary to ensure success
Preferred Qualifications


- Demonstrated success building and managing an industry leading branded digital or social program using owned, earned, and paid tactics.
- 3+ years of social media experience.
- Consumer e-commerce, retail, and/or start-up experience.
- Visual design, photography, copy writing, or other creative or tech skills
- Advanced data manipulation and analysis (e.g., SQL)
- Team building and/or management experience
- MBA or Masters
