Cisco is looking for a Director of Business Operations to join a new organization focusing on User Experience and Design. In this position, you will be working closely with Design Leads, Visual Designers, User Researchers, Product Managers and Engineers to build and maintain a high performing design organization.
Leadership alignment and execution on priorities
Establish regular cadence of communication that aligns with design operating engine
External communication to cross functional teams, executives and other stakeholders
People and focal planning
Internal Ops reviews
Vendor management for contractors
Quarterly contract renewals
Quarterly and annual fiscal planning – owning the organizations budget and staying on target.
Decision maker for budget reductions and shifting of resources
Task Management across design org
Review and improve current design process and gates across all design teams.
Corporate compliance for entire design organization
Onboarding of new hires
Meeting logistics and event management
Identify team needs regularly and create action plan (i.e.: software, resources, assets, equipment, etc.)
Who You'll Work With

Who You Are
BS/BA degree
Experience working within a User Experience team or organization
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design processes and iterative development processes
