SoftBank Group seeks a seasoned HR leader to join our global HR team. As the HR Director, you’ll drive key HR initiatives and oversee the day-to-day operations of a unique company. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and has experience driving HR in high-stakes, high-growth environments.
- Oversee all key people processes for the global org, including: performance management, compensation, benefits, and development programs
- Act as the expert, and oftentimes decision maker, on all matters related to: new hires, exits, payroll, benefits, leave of absences, and immigration and mobility cases.
- Lead the team in creating and implementing new processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, succession planning, compensation, and benchmarking.
- Serve as a regulatory compliance expert on employee relations and management. Reducing legal risk and partnering effectively with the legal team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters, MBA preferred, and/or HR certifications preferred
- 12+ years experience in HR in the banking, private equity, venture capital and financial services sectors
- Extensive people and process management experience
- Excellent customer orientation, interpersonal skills and team orientation, with an ability to work effectively with executives and garner trust from employees and stakeholders at all levels
- Proven experience implementing meaningful HR systems (e.g. HRIS, ATS and operations)
- Ability to manage own time and priorities in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
- Ability to develop creative solutions
