Global Security Manager Apple Santa Clara

The candidate will play an integral role in the world-class team responsible for security during new product development, within Apple and Apple’s partners worldwide. Specifically, this leader and his/her team will provide day-to-day support of specialized engineering teams, deliver performance reporting to stakeholders at all levels of the company, roll-out policies and initiatives globally, and any other duties assigned by the Director of Global Security.
In doing so, you will influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership to safeguard Apple’s most innovative and disruptive technologies. This position resides in Cupertino, California and may require up to 25% travel (international and domestic).

Practical understanding of security processes and risk frameworks.

Overcoming a steep learning curve to quickly understand complex real-world scenarios, provide actionable recommendations to mitigate priority risks, and drive consensus from cross-functional teams to deploy them.
Planning, designing, and managing work streams to implement complicated large-scale initiatives.
Executing global communication plans to help ensure swift adoption of changes to processes or technology.
Maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders to promote risk-aware decision making during pursuit of business objectives.
Quickly adjusting to new priorities and delivering tasks with minimal outside direction or supervision.

Education

B.S. or equivalent degree
10 years of operations or project management within one or all related fields, including: operations risk management, physical security, information security, or inventory management/loss prevention

Additional Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a multinational company with operations in China or Southeast Asia
Experience with manufacturing, product development or new product operations
Experience working directly for a top-tier consulting firm is a plus
