As an Employee Experience Manager reporting into Consumer HR, you will own the Connections program within a large, matrixed, business organization. Responsible for owning business group launch plans, the successful candidate will also own intra-team communications about the Connections program, and the results and actions the leaders have committed to taking. You will work with individual teams and leaders to identify and resolve root cause of issues at localized and cross-team levels. The ability to use both formal and informal influencing skills across Amazon's cross-matrix organization is critical to the success of this role.
The successful candidate has competency in the functions of the specific team they support, understands the organization and the work that they do, and are a part of the organizations leadership team. They help the teams create questions and question plans that support the most needed inputs from employees for that specific team, including interacting with the question creation and delivery toolset to enter and schedule questions (along with support of their analyst) for their team. They collect feedback on the Connections employee experience to continuously improve adoption and participation in the program. By being experts in the Connections tools and by partnering with the central Connections product management team, you will ensure that needs of your leadership are met. You will also have the opportunity to display your skills in the following areas:
Team leadership and mentoring.
Ownership of product roadmap and strategy; creating a best in class Connections experience for your stakeholders including launch roadmaps and communications.
Own the prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load for your business group.
Presenting Connections reports, data and impacts in team All Hands meeting and to Senior Leadership
Holding senior leadership accountable for executing programs to improve employee experience where Connections results reflect opportunities.
Driving improvements in employee trust and participation.
Weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS required.
8+ years’ product and program development experience including UAT and launching products globally across 5+ languages.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply technical concepts and communicate with technical teams.
Proven ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA/MS/MA preferred.
Fluency in one or more language other than English preferred.
Paired language translation.
Familiarity with the recent trends in employee engagement and development.
A passion for data visualization.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
