Primary point of analytical support for Corp Finance/FP&A
Liaise with Corp Finance/Label partners to prepare market guidance/budget & forecast views
Prepares an assortment of schedules for the annual budget and quarterly forecast; compile and review associated output
Works with WEA Sales and Global Catalog in preparing the catalog sales forecast/budget
Oversee analyses of major ad hoc requests per senior WMG executives/Access
Entails both individually conducting analyses in full as well as organizing and distributing piecemeal among internal department assets
Consolidate WMG Business Review presentations for the executive board on a monthly basis
Work in tandem with worldwide finance and sales teams to develop perspective on overall music industry performance and comparable WMG metrics
Provide written commentary to Corp on any variance in WMG performance relative to competition as well as internal budget projections
Prepare presentations and one-off projects for review with Corporate & Label leadership
Aid in the development of long-term relationship between R+A and international affiliates
Apply critical thinking and demand validation of business assumptions and strategies
Assist current worldwide R+A digital team with ad hoc analyses
Required Competencies:
Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
Results oriented with strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively (orally and in writing)
Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects
Extensive familiarity and expertise in PowerPoint
Additional computer skills (Excel, Access, Word)
6 to 8 years of experience
