This key leadership role involves partnering with Franchise editorial lead and publicity to drive the expansion of Scholastic key licensed franchised partners through smart and innovative marketing campaigns and programs that drive sales for our titles. Collaborate with partners by proactively initiating integrated touch points to reach the respective franchise audience. This can be via their fan and native platforms including social and retail. Fully develop and drive strategic category plans leveraging all Scholastic channels including Clubs/Fairs as well as educator outreach and publicity. Develop big picture ideas for launch while sustain programs to keep the franchise momentum for the titles.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and drive the promotional plans to launch and sustain our licensed title marketing program.
Align with Editorial as a strategic partner to build smart, long-term plans that help to drive the business forward.
Connect with licensor and initiate all ideas how best to utilize their channels.
Continually pitch fresh ideas and provide necessary follow-thru to maximize the franchise brand.
Leverage all opportunities via Scholastic’s educational outreach including Book Clubs and Fairs.
Work closely with our Retail/Sales dept, key accounts, and licensors to develop retail promotions.
Closely align with licensors on their retail programs in order to partner on all initiatives.
Lead the licensing promotional strategy for new franchise launches.
Determine roll out, tie-in with Sales, sell-in and sell-thru programs.
Partner with Creative team to lead the development of new campaign initiatives.
Initiate/drive the strategy, write the plan, engage appropriate stakeholders, analyze, and communicate with key stakeholders.
