We are expanding our lean, but strong East Coast team and this person will join to help sell sponsorships and our proprietary ad units, and work closely with our product and account management teams to make sure our advertising customers are successful. He or she will have a track record of success and an entrepreneurial leaning that will allow them to quickly get up to speed on our products and begin generating revenue.
The position is based in NYC, and we offer competitive compensation, benefits and an employee stock option program.
responsibilities
Develop a strategy for building our customer base in the Eastern Region, including prioritizing target accounts, refining our value proposition and raising our profile in the market
Prospect for clients, pitch new business, build and maintain customer relationships and generate sales
Hit or exceed sales targets and accurately forecast business
Work with account management, ad operations and product teams to ensure our client’s campaigns are successful
Bring client feedback to the Imgur product team to help shape our product offerings
requirements
5+ years digital ad sales experience selling to advertisers & their agencies, preferably representing a Top 100 Comscore property
Experience negotiating, structuring, and closing complex six figure ad programs
Strong advertiser relationships
Passion for visual, social and viral advertising
