In this key role as a member of our Global Pharmacometrics group within the Clinical Pharmacology Department, you will be responsible for providing expert study/program design, data analytical and interpretation inputs to our various Research, Development and Business Unit organizations. The successful candidates will work as partners of disease area aligned multi-disciplinary teams in providing model informed drug discovery and development expertise and leadership to a variety of through to loss of patent exclusivity. Of key importance will be the formation and maintenance of effective collaborations with amongst others, statistical, clinical and clinical pharmacology members of these teams.

In addition to the disease specific project activities the successful candidates will forge collaborative relationships with Pharmacometric colleagues within the Global Pharmacometrics community (currently based in USA, UK, China and Japan), other subject matter specialists and groups external to the organization (leading academics, external service providers etc.). The successful candidates will work with colleagues to ensure Pfizer's position as a leader in the use of quantitative approaches supporting drug research and development strategies and worldwide registration of new medicines.
Pharmacometricians routinely interact with internal governance bodies, regulatory agencies and external opinions leaders. They are expected to influence the external environment by advancing their discipline and through external presentations and publications.

Responsibilities
• Hands-on modelling and simulation.
• Support model informed drug discovery and development (MID3) strategies.
• Interaction with clinical pharmacology and other project team colleagues including clinicians and statisticians.
• Collaboration with the global Pharmacometric community.
Qualifications
The ideal candidates will have a doctorate degree with demonstrated expertise in Pharmacometrics and strong quantitative skills (e.g. experience in mechanistic modelling/systems pharmacology, quantitative translational scaling, literature meta-analyses, population PK and PK-PD modelling, and clinical trial simulations).
