RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all development aspects of project(s) (within area of ownership or beyond) to meet scope, schedule and budget
Build a consensus among cross-functional teams; gain key stakeholders' support and organizational resources
Create and manage project timelines, resources, and budget along with identifying project risks as well as risk mitigation strategy
Connect project team and partners across product marketing/user experience, engineering, supply chain/manufacturing, and vendors/suppliers to establish and deliver optimal development and commercialization plan
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
BS/MS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
Work Experience
2+ years of program/project management in software and/or hardware development in automotive or consumer electronics
2+ years of technical development in software or hardware in automotive or consumer electronics
Experience creating and developing technology prototypes in short time cycles measured in weeks/months versus years.
Experience in working with product and engineering teams to build and scale programs
Ability to function in a fast paced team-oriented environment with exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience working with external companies, consultants and startups
Skills and Competencies
Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and make hard decisions
Experience dealing with ambiguous requirements, synthesizing information, and identifying potential solutions and associated risks/tradeoffs
Experience working functionally across software-, electrical-, or mechanical-engineering projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
Familiar with Agile Methodology
Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
Willingness to dig into problems and ability to quickly learn new things
