The Opportunity: The Four Seasons, Washington D.C. is currently looking for a Director of Sales. This individual will supervise and direct the hotel's sales efforts, both individual and group; in addition to also prospect and sell individual accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan. He/She will ensure that team quotas are met and that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room.

Qualifications:
• College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required
• Two to four years of previous experience directly related to hotel sales.
• Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
• Ability to use Delphi required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask. High level of creativity.
• Ability to irregular hours, weekends, and evenings.
• Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure
• Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and internet technology – preferred.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
