Responsible for leading cross-functional teams that are focused on the delivery of a product or service from design to release for customers. Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects and defines and assigns major project roles. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery. Key Roles & Responsibilities*
Manage and oversee cross-functional teams/projects, budgets, resourcing, etc.
Provide leadership for all stages/phases of the project management cycle, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and organization strategy.
Approve and oversee project plans, budgets and resources and ensure budgets and schedules meet organization requirements.
Manage Systems Integrators, Security, and Quality Control vendor engagements, including participating in the creation of RFPs, review/selection of vendors, etc.
Manage assigned Jr. Project Managers, guide them on their projects, and positively develop their professional skills;
Ensure that staff and consultants are adhering to the published PMO methodologies, templates, and development standards.
Participate in the review of project artifacts including technical requirements, user experience design, architecture, testing and implementation documentation;
Identify future support needs and work with appropriate units to articulate and request these resources
Manage human capital resources and provides leadership for all stages/phases of the project management cycle, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and organization strategy.

Functional and Business Knowledge*
Has in-depth knowledge of project management and IT processes and strategies and broad understanding of S&P Global businesses to best provide support.
Working knowledge of ITIL processes, functions like Service Desk, L2 and L3 operations in the context of collaboration and Productivity tools like Microsoft office. Expertise in building business cases and managing the execution of programs that span across multiple geographies and vendors.
Areas of coverage including but not limited to: Global Service Desk/KM, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Client Device Provisioning, Engineering and Support, Client Education Programs, Standards and Policies, Email and Calendaring including Office 365, Collaboration Services, Desktop Productivity Applications, Client Asset and License Lifecycle Management, Intranet Portals, Client Access Provisioning, EUC Customer Relationship, SLA Management and Vendor governance
Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
Frequently interact with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, involving matters between functional areas, as well as executive management
Typical Scope & Impact*
Contribute to the achievement of Project Management and IT objectives.
Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work on tight timelines with targeted goals
Excellent communication skills to lead teams and influence stakeholders
Experience and background in procurement systems or supply chain products, is a plus;
Management of web-based projects focused on responsive design and end-user focused experiences;
Management of on-site and remote staff or team members responsible for customer support, project management, system architecture, design, deployment, and IT systems sustainment;
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially honed for executive level communications
PMP or Scrum Master certification is preferred.

Qualifications:
Deep project management experience (5+ years) utilizing agile scrum (3+ years), waterfall, and hybrid methodologies;
Strong demonstration of negotiation and conflict management skills;
Proven success overseeing the on-time delivery of large complex programs led by System Integrators and their subcontractors;
Delivery of broad client side system integrations with particular focus on SaaS implementations/configurations;
High familiarity with User Interface, Application, Data, and Data Integration architecture layers/components within a cloud and on premise environment;
Ability to interact effectively with line staff, other project managers, and functional managers;
Excellent analytic, organization, presentation and facilitation skills
Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
