Elavon is currently seeking a Director of Product Management to drive the strategic vision of the payment gateway in support of the organization's goals and market demand. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical, business, and product skills combined with a high bias for action. As product owner, you will oversee the evaluation of market trends, product lifecycle, product position, and pricing philosophy, as well as maintain accountability for product profit and growth goals. He/she will identify areas of opportunity and champion enhancements to the product line that will optimize sales opportunities and meet organization objectives.
Documents business case for new solutions and enhancements;
Defines product strategy/roadmap;
Works with cross-functional team(s) to deliver enhanced gateway experience and creates compelling external messaging;
Manages GTM efforts for new releases;
Creates and maintains competitive/industry intelligence knowledge base; and
Provides support for Third Party Processor certification efforts
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Ten-plus years of product management or related experience developing and driving product strategy for enterprise software solutions
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments and ability to balance diverse priorities
- Comfortable in technical discussions but also able to communicate to non-technical audiences
- Thorough knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation, and strategic analysis
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial and competitive analysis skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Master’s degree or advanced technical degree
- In-depth payments knowledge, including the authorization and settlement process
- Background in product managing software platform that integrates to multiple end points
- Agile product development experience
- Managerial experience is highly desired
