As a Director for Local Markets FX Trading, you will help build the ANZ Local Currency Trading capabilities through the delivery of financial results and supporting all facets of the Markets Trading & Sales business. You will ensure consistent, competitive, and timely pricing to customers and while ensuring alignment with Markets trading mandates, processes, and regulatory requirements. You will also help promote trading/sales collaboration and engagement to maximise Markets results. You will also demonstrate a high level of engagement and performance and will ensure best practices across the business. Another key aspect to you role is limiting transactional processing risk issues, preventing of operational risk and trading errors. To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
Extensive experience in currency trading and with a strong foundation in emerging and Asian currencies
Good understanding of the front-to-back operations of the trading business
Knowledge of regulatory framework and requirements in relevant countries
Good risk management skills and a strong client service ethic
