The Latin America Pricing organization is responsible for monitoring the market to define the most optimal pricing for our portfolio to meet our profitability objectives.

Overview of position
The Latin America Pricing Director leads the regional pricing organization and requires collaboration with leaders from Product Group, Product Line Management, Finance, Sales & Field Marketing Managers to deliver optimal pricing for PCs & Notebooks. The Pricing Director role will strongly partner with Finance leadership to develop, approve and implement discounting policies to improve the profitability of a segment or region.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads organization that develops and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics
- Maintains and communicates regular pricing position
- Leads the proposal for price position changes across platforms and markets (per price band) with regional leaders to insure competitive and financially viable price position
- Leads a team that monitors and reports regional competitive and cost trends
- Focuses list pricing activities and influences discounting and promotional practices with the intent of maximizing overall operating income
- Supports the quarterly RUM guidance process, which incorporates revenue and margin implications of forward pricing plans for assigned product categories as appropriate
- Supports the list pricing at launch of new models or products
- Works cross-functionally to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements
Qualifications

Requirements
- Experience with regularly interacting with senior management or executive levels
- Highly skilled strategic planning abilities
- Highly skilled financial and analytical abilities
- Highly skilled at directing management teams to fulfill a strategy
- Requires 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Requires 4+ years of managerial/leadership experience
