• The Director will manage the development, commercialization and go-to-market of innovative consumer authentication solutions from ideation through business case development and go to market.
Role:
• Leads the development, planning and go-to-market execution of new cardholder authentication solutions for assigned regions and lines of business in partnership with the global product lead and regional market product management staff
• Collaborates with other Mastercard teams (Operations & Technology, Customer Delivery, Sales, Customer Account Management, Implementation, Marketing, Franchise and Legal) to manage the successful end-to-end development and launch of consumer authentication products
• Develops and commercializes new products following Mastercard Product Management Excellence framework and standards
• Defines, tracks and reports key product success indicators for new authentication solutions
• Monitors the landscape of competitive products and industry trends, understanding their implications for MasterCard and developing toolkits to empower the product /sales teams with necessary product knowledge and information
• Performs product launch-related activities including but not limited to executing customer pilots, managing required implementation tasks associated with new biometric authentication product implementations, development of product collateral; training and generation of procedure updates and product testing validation
• Supports the development and execution of the global product roadmap for assigned consumer authentication products
• Manages qualitative and quantitative market research to validate trends and competitive opportunities for specific new product features and development efforts
• Defines business requirements to meet product goals and interfaces with technical product developers to ensure successful translation of product requirements into technical specifications
• Serves as a product champion and SME for assigned regions and lines of business
•Supports sales activities and key customer implementations
All About You:
• Bachelors Degree Required/MBA Preferred
• Demonstrated success leading the development and commercialization of complex technology solutions on a global basis.
• Deep understanding of all facets of product lifecycle management
• Experience building relationships and delivering product results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams
• Strong written communication skills with experience creating effective sales presentations and product collateral
• Positive team player with proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and fluid schedules
• Well-developed verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills able to effectively engage with customers, vendors and industry stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed organization
• Up to 15% domestic/international travel required
