Facebook is seeking to hire an experienced Director of Sales to drive outstanding growth & performance in the Gaming category across North America. In this role, you will lead a highly talented team who serve top Gaming advertisers and be expected to provide thought leadership for the industry. You will assume general management responsibilities while serving as a cross functional leader; working with product, engineering, sales, platform & partner management, marketing and finance to drive Facebook’s most important strategic priorities in the Gaming category including Console, Social and Mobile Gaming, and Real Money Gaming advertisers. You should be comfortable with change and be passionate about Sales Management, Sales Operations and process improvement. This person should possess the ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment. This position will be based in Menlo Park, California and will report to the Global VP of Gaming Sales, based in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Develop regional strategy for Gaming, including addressing market and sub vertical needs
Play a critical role in building, training and managing a talented, motivated, highly consultative sales team, providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
Build C-level relationships with Gaming companies to develop full-funnel & game lifecycle marketing solutions
Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals
Develop scalable operational improvements to support Facebook’s advertiser growth
Work seamlessly between sales channels and business functions to continue revenue growth
Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS Degree
12+ years in Sales, Operations, Marketing or Consulting, including 7+ years of sales management
Experience leading and motivating large teams
Experience in strategic sales, relationship management & performance marketing
Knowledge of Gaming Industry with experience in Mobile Marketing
Proven analytical and strategic planning background
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally
Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
Communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate and work effectively at all levels
