This leader will be responsible for the overall Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS) cross-functional NPI process for all Gold Business Enterprises (GBEs). The leader will be responsible for ensuring a lean and agile product development experience to enable fast and right NPI delivery as well as drive the full adoption of, and CMMI certification success, across the business as agreed to by GBE and SPS leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Overall management and cross-functional coordination of the SPS NPI process emphasizing lean
and agile methodology incorporation
- Establish and chair the SPS NPI Change Control Board (CCB) which is made up of cross functional
members
- Responsible for NPI process audits and GBE maturity levels within Accolade to ensure consistent


knowledge and practice of applying the SPS NPI process
- Responsible for creation and updates of SPS NPI training material and ensuring high quality training


is available through multiple media
- Responsible for disposition to appropriate functional owners of process changes related to Corrective


Action Requests (CAR)
- Responsible for driving common Engineering Work Request (EWR) process across SPS
- Ensure close alignment to PMO and VPD business goals
- Focal point for CMMI certification activity in SPS
- Drive Cycle Time (CT) Improvement and Product Development Value Stream Mapping (PDVSM)


activities to improve NPI speed and remove non-value added activity
- Provide mentoring of project teams for the NPI process

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT or Business Related Field
• 5+ years of management experience
• Minimum of 10 years NPI process usage experience

Additional Qualifications
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Expert certification preferred
• Leadership skills (influence, negotiating, etc.)
• People management/influence skills
• Champion of Change Management skills
• Previous NPI process improvement and management experience
• Cross-functional and business process knowledge
• Agile software development methodology knowledge
• Project Management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
