Director Digital Payments Product Marketing Mastercard Purchase

Overview:
• As a part of Mastercard’s US Marketing organization, the product marketing team is responsible for developing market differentiation for Mastercard products and services via B2B and B2C marketing activities to help achieve our goals.
• You will specifically focus on our Digital Payments products including the Masterpass platform, tokenized partner solutions, our personal payments platform, and other new initiatives.
• In close partnership with the product and sales teams you will help craft messaging and marketing solutions to deliver on business goals and objectives.
• Do you have a strong understanding of digital product marketing, and B2B channels to help deliver significant adoption or sales of a digital product?

• Are you a resourceful team player who can work effectively with others including executives and garner support/advocacy from a large cross-functional team?

Role:
• Partner closely with product leadership to help define the go to market strategy, overcome customer challenges and execute as needed to achieve business goals
• Demonstrate thought leadership by identifying and sharing opportunities for product owners based upon product and industry knowledge.
• Assist issuer and consumer marketing teams with product strategies around activation, usage and retention for digital payments and digital wallets.
• Leverage consumer and industry insights as well as direct customized research initiatives to identify brand and marketing superiority claims for use in sales communications.
• Participation and situational leadership of multi-disciplinary work teams (Account managers, Solution sales, Advisors, Consumer marketing, etc.) focused on leveraging Mastercard’s assets to solve key business challenges.
• Work with external partners to identify programs that increase share for Mastercard within 3rd party payment solutions (eg mobile wallets, wearables, and connected devices)

All About You:
• Product marketing experience for digital products (B2C or B2B2C) , financial services, agency or consulting disciplines required.
• Excellent track record of executing B2B marketing strategies based upon insights that delivered measurable business results.
• Confidence in the digital marketing space with demonstrated ability to develop strategies that leverage digital, social media and/or mobile marketing platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including large group presentations as well as demonstrated project management skills.
• Ability to influence key decision makers to deliver Mastercard value and drive expansion of the Mastercard franchise.
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
