Mirum Shopper is looking for a Client Financial Director to manage the Client Finance team in researching and analyzing accounts and assist with monthly job close.
Ideally, the candidate should have advertising industry experience including extensive knowledge of client operations and compensation models, especially project based, retainer, and time and material fee engagements. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills as they will frequently interface with Agency Leadership and Client contacts at senior levels.

Essential Job Functions
Lead Client Finance team in preparation and review of monthly Client and job P&Ls
Present Finance and Agency Leadership with P&L analysis, risk identification and proactive solutions for achieving agency financial goals.
Works with Agency Account Management to reconcile client projects on a monthly basis
Lead Team in accurate revenue forecasting, phasing, risk identification and variance analyses
Ensure accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation for revenue recognition
Draft necessary journal entries to resolve any revenue or balance sheet discrepancies
Responsible for client billing and collections
Closely monitor compliance with client contracts, project management, product profitability and margins and provide regular updates to department heads and producers
Review all client estimates and budgets
Monitor projects to ensure proper billing is generated per billing schedule on SOW
Review Statement of Work documents for completeness
Provide support for internal and external audits
Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
CPA or CFA preferred, BA in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred
5+ years of progressive industry experience
High accuracy and diligence in inputting data
Self-motivated team player with a strong interest in working to deadline and doing quality work
Strong technical accounting and analysis experience with full understanding of accrual based accounting, revenue recognition types and rules, GAAP rules
Proven leadership and excellent interpersonal skills.
Communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in managing project, departmental and enterprise risks related to projects, systems and business analysis.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
