McDonald’s is looking for a candidate who is passionate about business development to become Director of Global Menu Strategy Innovation, reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Menu Strategy Innovation. This person is responsible for leading the strategic direction and driving sustainable growth for McDonald’s through innovation. The consumer is at the center of what we do and delivering offerings that address consumer needs is foundational. This roles requires strategic thinking, a consumer centric approach to innovation, intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit, strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross functional teams and collaborate.

Principal Accountabilities
• Opportunity identification and scoping of consumer centric market place opportunities that are aligned with corporate priorities.
• Project Manager who leads cross-functional global teams including food technology, ops, design, IT and mktg to develop and coordinate growth strategies and actions that drive sustainable growth.
• Develop global solutions that are scalable and deliver value to customers, owner/operators and the corporation.
• Strong communicator, presenter, and self-starter who develops compelling materials that effectively communicates insights/strategies and is comfortable presenting to and influencing a broad range of stakeholders.
• Leads development of content to communicate across Corporate, Global Marketing Leadership and Global Menu Council forums.

Minimum Requirements
• 7+ years of experience required in related field (Brand/Product Management, Marketing, Customer Experience).
• Proven experience in leveraging consumer and business insights to develop innovation strategies.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, project management and presentation skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
• Proven ability to impact and influence teams without formal authority.
• Experience leading major brands and led development of new brands or spearheaded re-shaping of brand positioning for existing brands.
• BS/BA degree in related discipline required; MBA Preferred.
• Generalist marketing experience credentials preferred.
