The Director, Global Financial Institutions Client Marketing will report to the Vice President of Global Client and Innovation Marketing and is responsible for helping to shape Visa's global financial institution (FI) client marketing strategy to drive brand and business results. This individual is responsible for helping to build relationships with global FI client, in a more systematic and coordinated way, and building best-in-class marketing plans that drive business goals for both Visa and its clients. The role will help define and oversee marketing across all global FI-focused marketing efforts in support of Visa's payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop integrated FI client marketing plans targeted to key global issuer clients for Visa
Partner closely with Global Issuer/Financial Institution (FI) Client Group to establish deep relationships with global clients helping to sell the "whole of Visa" while working to develop marketing plans in support of Visa's business, brand, and innovation agenda
Coordinate cross functional teams from marketing, sales, and product (global, regional and/or country-based) on marketing centered projects to drive brand and business results including expanded issuance, increased payment volume/Visa share (both traditional and e-commerce) and Net Promotor Score
Work with regional FI client marketing counterparts to develop marketing campaigns from strategy to execution
Work in partnership with the content, social media and digital teams to develop compelling content and effective activation strategies
Work with creative and media agencies to develop world class creative campaigns
Participate in RFP response, leading Marketing/Brand team contribution
Oversee appropriate research in coordination with Research and Analytics teams
Work with analytics team to provide ROI for marketing campaigns and monitor overall performance
Track and mange budgets

Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required/MBA preferred
Seasoned, results-oriented with 10+ years progressively responsible business experience, with majority in communications or marketing roles that involved strategy & planning as well as execution, preferably across multiple marketing disciplines
Demonstrated track record of implementing brand and marketing strategies based on business objectives and managing marketing programs that delivered measurable business results
Proven ability to manage work in highly matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders
Strong executive presence with highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact
A great team member who adds energy, ideas and fun to our team and corporate culture
Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills
Experience in business development success
Experience managing external advertising and communications agency partners
Track-record of using digital and social media effectively
Solid financial and analytical acumen with strong ROI orientation
