The Director of Card Marketing will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy, driving acquisition, retention and engagement of PayPal debit and credit card products to both existing and new consumers in North America. These marketing activities may include in-store, direct mail, email and digital ad programs. This leader will be responsible for creating an actionable marketing plan for PayPal’s card portfolio and the associated services and be a strong influencer internally to ensure alignment and maximum success.

Develop the marketing and distribution strategy and lead the end-to-end marketing and distribution activities for PayPal’s credit and debit card products and associated services in North America.
Developing world-class marketing programs that meet or exceed business goals.
Lead marketing strategy and creative development including working with external agencies and develop creative that is compelling, on-brand and impactful.
Lead, mentor and develop a small team of marketers and set them up to success.
Collaborate with analytics to develop robust cohort segmentation of the portfolios and demonstrate true ROI.
Develop, position and promote the product value propositions and messaging to relevant consumer segments.
Partner with relevant teams across the company to effectively execute on segmented marketing campaigns.
Act as an industry expert and stay up-to-date with trends and changes in the payments industry and deliver quick, effective recommendations.
