Apple's Global Business Intelligence group focuses on deploying critical business intelligence solutions for all business areas, and has an immediate opening for a Technical Product Manager, who will be responsible for Apple Care Repair business areas across all geographic regions within Apple. This role will be responsible for direct interaction with key business customers, and ownership of multiple strategic/high visibility efforts within Apple Care Repair business.

Key Qualifications

Candidate must have proven skill in understanding data. Must have experience in determining the precise meaning of data in a complex enterprise system landscape and data flow.
In depth experience in a SAP or equivalent ERP package environment and detailed understanding of procurement, supply chain, inventory, logistics, order management, and forecast data, functions, and processes is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with a proactive participative style.
From a project management perspective, candidate must have a successful track record in all aspects of the project development lifecycle.
Experience in supporting senior business team members. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are critical. Successful interaction with management of multiple technical teams in an on/off shore model is important.
Ability to work on large, individual projects or major segments of complex company-wide projects with only consultative direction from management.
Ability to prioritize and juggle between multiple projects, always projecting a positive outlook in a fast faced, sometimes stressful environment, with minimal supervision.
Description

The position offers the opportunity to influence our global analytical environment. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the Business Intelligence area with proficiency in the features, deployment, user interface design and use of reporting/analytics tools. Strong familiarity of the BI industry, vendors, and products is important. Some other responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: *Collaborating with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery. •Overseeing the ongoing development and operations enterprise data warehouse and UI solutions. •Collaborating with development team to build data visualization and UI which “wow" the customers. •Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value. •Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation. •Advising and educating management on their relative importance and impact. •Staying current with industry trends.

Education

BS Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management or equivalent, 10+ years of experience in Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence space
