Within this role, you will help chart the future direction of Apple Pay and ensure the business can execute against that long-term strategy. Partnering directly with the Apple Pay business and engineering teams, you will work cross-functionally to deliver results, as well as working with external partners such as payment networks, bank issuers and other players to help deliver on our roadmap. The ability to both establish a long-term vision for the business and drive near-term planning is a critical aspect of the role.

An in-depth knowledge of mobile commerce and payment processing is a major plus. This role is full-time and is located in our Cupertino, CA headquarters.
Key Qualifications
Seasoned corporate strategy manager with 5+ years of successful experience, including strategy setting, cross-functional planning, and special project leadership
5+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or other relevant roles for leading companies
Payment industry experience with an understanding of key value-chain players, and in-depth knowledge of mobile payments topics (e.g., tokenization)
Ability to conduct independent research and problem structuring
Experience in financial valuation analysis and business performance modeling
Ability to synthesize complex topics and distill key business dynamics
Ability to collaborate with different teams, superior influencing skills, and strong senior-level communication abilities
Direct experience working with major payments companies, including banks, payment networks, processors and merchants
Energetic and collaborative team player who feeds off independent responsibilities and shaping the future of global payments

Lead strategic projects related to overall Apple Pay strategy and planning, and contribute to the overall strategic plan for the business Drive new product and feature evaluations anchored in business and strategy analysis to support executive decision-making on top priorities Support regional strategy development and implementation (e.g., Europe, Americas) Lead special projects and cross-functional team management, as needed Deliver corporate development assessments and recommendations (e.g., alliances, valuations) Run financial and operating forecasts and scenarios for the Apple Pay business Manage annual and quarterly planning process working across internal teams Deliver market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform business decision-making Travel is likely be required
