Supervise staff of 7 in Traffic/Continuity.
Serve as primary department contact for process issues and system implementations.

Manage department relationships with Sales, Programming, Production, IT and Finance.

Facilitate and manage all commercial advertising for a station.

Produce and reconcile broadcast logs.

Manage preemptions and make-goods.

Work with Account Executives and Sales Management to maximize station revenue and meet client expectations.

Provide posted logs to finance department for billing.

Respond to listener inquiries concerning commercial spots.

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, use hands, reach with hands/ arms and manipulate a computer keyboard. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Job requires a majority of work day to be spent sitting and typing at computers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of Traffic experience required. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required, as is the ability to effectively manage and meet deadlines. Must be flexible and adapt well to changing priorities and environments. Four year college degree preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
