This position is responsible for strategic marketing to guide product, portfolio and strategy development. This includes the definition of sustainable competitive advantages, key product attributes, market opportunities and competitive positioning. Has leadership of all indication and market research, product planning and commercial activities, and is the primary contact point on all aspects of pricing/reimbursement, strategic market access and commercial strategy. Provides comprehensive analysis of the market and competitive landscape. Partners with clinical, regulatory, research, project management, business development, manufacturing and others.

Develops and Executes Launch Planning
Supports development of brand planning for RT002 injectable in therapeutics.
Integrates marketing and indication research into overall clinical and development strategy as a member of the project team(s)
Conducts focused market research for providers and patients to support business objectives
Works with cross-functional teams to evaluate commercial opportunities across a portfolio of pipeline products and business development opportunities
Prepares long-term product forecasts and expense budgets
Understand key market trends in competitive environment to develop insights critical to product strategy and communications
Develops understanding of reimbursement and pricing dynamics for Revance’s therapeutic products
Manages vendors to ensure execution towards US RT002 business objectives
Builds, mentors and develops a team in support of the business growth and needs
Active participant in management of the therapeutic marketing department budget and resource allocation
Leads development and ongoing maintenance of therapeutic portion of corporate website and future therapeutic indication specific websites
R&D Global Development Planning Interface
Participates as member of defined R&D project teams to ensure preparation for filing and approval consistent with commercial objectives
Ensures implementation of target product profiles, target product profile refinement, selection of product attributes and packaging, market development, and ultimately branding and positioning.
Develops comprehensive competitor assessment including clinical development, intellectual property, regulatory events, company announcements, scientific publications, marketing programs, and sales updates
Supports development of scientific strategic communications
Attendance and Interfaces and Medical Congresses
Attends key medical conferences and builds strong relationships with KOL’s to reinforce key messages.
Leads medical congress initiatives
Travel domestically and internationally approximately 25-30% of time.
Preferred Experience:
7-10 years industry experience in Pharmaceutical Strategic Marketing, in-line Marketing/product management and/or other relevant commercial discipline, preferably in specialty disease areas.
Experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred.
Experience in reimbursement and managed care preferred.
Experience in Neurology therapeutic area strongly preferred.
Preferred Education:
Requires a BA/BS or MBA with appropriate work experience.
