We are seeking a new Director of Seller Marketing to evolve and deliver eBay’s C2C marketing strategy. In this role, you and your team will play a significant role in growing a multi-billion dollar business by promoting opportunities for buyers and sellers to participate in a global marketplace. You will own the development of the Seller Marketing roadmap, outlining world-class integrated marketing programs that drive profitable growth via seller acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will ensure that plans are insight-driven and customer-centric in order to meet or exceed aggressive performance goals for the growth of selling on eBay.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:
Define the vision of eBay’s Seller Marketing organization to deliver measurable financial growth and strategic value to the company.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of integrated C2C marketing campaigns, focused on driving seller acquisition, engagement, and retention via multi-channel marketing, including Email, Internet Marketing, Social, and more.
Establish goals for the growth of eBay Seller Marketing; adjust and evolve programs over time to meet these goals.
Partner with multiple eBay stakeholder teams, including Merchant Development, the Consumer Selling Business Unit, North America Marketing Leadership, Product Management, Marketing Channels, Finance, and Analytics to deliver customer-centric marketing programs.
Lead a team of employees and third party agencies towards execution of Seller Marketing initiatives, including overseeing budgets, targets, and operations.
Build and nurture a collaborative team culture, focusing on high performance standards, trust, and shared success.
Requirements:

10+ years of consumer marketing experience, including online marketing experience with a leading ecommerce company or major consumer brand.
Track record of achieving aggressive marketing and customer goals through the use of analytics and data.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with depth of experience in CRM or Internet marketing within an ecommerce environment.
Experience in strategy development and annual planning, with demonstrated success translating customer research and analytics into impactful results.
Proven experience designing, launching, and optimizing sophisticated multi-channel consumer marketing campaigns with accountability over multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
Exceptional organizational dexterity: ability to engage key stakeholders and build consensus across multiple business groups at all levels.
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
An ability to energize people and motivate teams, as well as trigger powerful cross-functional collaboration.
Experience managing agencies is preferred, but not required.
BA/BS degree required; MBA or other Master’s degree strongly preferred.
