The Director, Strategic Sourcing will join the Strategic Sourcing department and support all Wyndham Worldwide business units. This position will identify, communicate, and execute sourcing and cost savings initiatives in the areas of food & beverage (F&B) and Green and Sustainability efforts and ancillary services while also maintaining sourcing support for external vendors and internal customers. The Director, Strategic Sourcing will manage the matrix of food and beverage distributors (both national and regional), GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) relationships as it relates to F&B, and sustainable and diverse suppliers and manufacturers with proficiency and regularly oversees projects that pursue aggressive revenue goals, cost savings, and cost reduction initiatives. Responsibilities
Negotiate key business terms and influence internal and external business partners to achieve departmental goals for food and beverage categories.
Facilitate vendor selection through RFI’s, RFP’s, etc. to assist with the strategic direction of food and beverage especially as it relates to the Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG) managed hotel portfolio and Wyndham Vacation Ownership (WVO).
Assist in formulation of GPO strategy and relationships to deliver value to Wyndham, the business units and, ultimately, at the property levels.
Manage vendor agreements through the legal process to execution(conception through completion) and assist with implementation efforts within the business units.
Work proactively with strategic vendors to discover and generate additional sources of revenue through new programs or expansion of existing programs and provide analysis and analytical support to endorse their recommendation.
Build and maintain relationships with sourcing team members, business units, suppliers and franchisees in an effort to strengthen the programs of Strategic Sourcing and ensure maximum utilization by customers in accordance with the Strategic Sourcing Policy.
Assist with development and management of F&B programs: i.e. program roll-outs, WHG Global Conference (sponsorship collections), regional meetings, solicitation for donations (Wyndham Championship, picnic, holiday party) and various other events throughout the year.
Work closely with marketing in an effort to increase customer penetration and revenue for approved suppliers.
Collect and review quarterly reporting from assigned suppliers and conduct meetings with suppliers on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Work directly with WVO and WHG F&B contact to support and build comprehensive programs (franchised and owned/managed) that leverages the spend and supplier relationships within Wyndham Worldwide.

Qualifications
BA or MS preferred
Minimum 5-7 years contract negotiation experience
Hospitality/Food & Beverage industry experience
Commodities and food category specific knowledge
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Possesses good written and oral communication skills,
Strong PC Skills (Excel, database management, eProcurement tools)
