Director Sales Honeywell Golden Valley

• Collaboratively develop and implement E&ES Sales Strategies, and develops local tactics that best position solutions, services, or ideas in terms of how they add value to customer operations, addresses unique needs and preferences of key client decision makers.
• Ensures that the Business line has an appropriate sales plan/focus in line with Honeywell E&ES Sales strategy and local requirements, regularly reviews sales funnel and qualifies leads; ensures balance of Sales efforts between short-term and longer-term prospects; takes corrective action as appropriate.

• Manage the staffing, performance management, goal alignment, salary administration, career planning, employee development, training, and reward and recognition processes to ensure adequate, competent, and motivated resources are available to achieve the planned results within planned costs.
• Strong influencing, negotiating, and executive presentation skills, ability to motivate, build high performance cross-functional teams, and the capacity to lead a regional, geographically dispersed organization.
• Serve as key customer contact with the ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with a wide variety of customers.
• Serve as the focal point for all E&ES activities in their designated area, including, but not limited to, Sales, Delivery support issues, support of measurement and verification and on-going service issues, local tradeshows and assns., etc.
• Ability to travel nationally at least 60% of the time

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years managing at least $15,000,000 in national annual sales
• 8+ years sales management of at least 6 remotely distributed team members with a strong track record of successfully developing talent
• 8+ years of experience in OEM sales
• 5+ years of Experience with SalesForce.com CRM tool
• 5+ years experience managing at least $5,000,000 budget

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical thinking and forecasting
• 5+ years experience with Channel management in a multi brand, multi-channel environment
• Experienced with executive level relationships and negotiations
• Experience managing a commercial product portfolio
• MBA/Masters Degree
• Minimum 5 years of management level experience in the HVAC sector, preferably with 2 step distribution and commercial contractors
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
