Director Marketing Winthrop Legacy Brands Sanofi Bridgewater

This role provides an opportunity for a highly talented individual to lead day-to-day customer marketing activities for our Winthrop U.S. portfolio. This individual will serve as the primary contact with our generic retail and wholesale segment and work closely with our National Specialty Accounts team to maximize our business in the hospital and LTC market segments.

She/he will work closely with key stakeholders in the Pricing and Contracting/Contract Development, and Legal groups to process bids and new contracts in a timely manner. This position will report to the Senior Director, Winthrop U.S. and Legacy Brands and will require a high degree of collaboration and teamwork with numerous functional groups including, but not limited to Trade, Supply Chain, Finance, Forecasting, Customer Service, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and Quality. The role requires a highly motivated individual that is able to work independently, think strategically and transversally in order to accomplish complex deliverables that include:


· Define and execute strategic customer marketing management initiatives, tactics, and programs to create interest, demand, and recognition of both Winthrop U.S. products as well as our Heritage product portfolio

· Develop and manage customer marketing budgets

· Plan, organize, and manage the customer marketing function to achieve Winthrop U.S. goals of sales, profitability, and visibility while ensuring a consistent marketing message and positioning for both Winthrop U.S. and its products

· Manage revenue forecasts in conjunction with forecasting group and Senior Director, Winthrop U.S. and Legacy Brands.

· Work closely with regulatory and other RC members to ensure compliance to policies for both Winthrop U.S. and its products

· Develop and track metrics for market development programs, and other sales support programs

· Server as key interface with wholesale, retail and group purchasing customers

· Oversee product pricing decisions and policies for all classes of trade including retail, wholesale, mail order, GPO, and specialty classes

· Oversee all aspects of contract/bid development, implementation, administration and compliance

· Contribute to annual planning and forecasting processes and other strategic planning work streams



Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree

· Minimum of 8-10 years of Healthcare experience in operational marketing, sales or contracting analytics, product/project management, new product commercialization, and / or finance

Preferred Qualifications:
· MBA or other advanced degree

· Strategic thinker with strong track record of execution

· Solid understanding of the external Generic buyers/customers (wholesalers, Institutional & Retail GPOs, and other purchasing groups), related channels and contracting process.

· Experience working with cross-functional groups, made up of the following: Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Life Cycle Management, Finance, Forecasting, etc.

· Highly collaborative

· Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and prioritize key objective effectively.

· Strong communications skills and team player mindset is required.

· Strong project management expertise

· Generics / authorized generics experience
