The Creative Director (CD) leads and oversees a creative team that develops high-concept campaigns, promos, digital extensions for the Fox Sports Marketing group. Reporting to the Vice President of Creative, the CD is responsible for initiating and overseeing every creative aspect of a promo campaign. This role will guide his/her team that typically includes editors, designers, VFX artists, music composers, and sound designers to build high quality, compelling promotional content to support iconic events such as the Super Bowl, World Cup, Daytona 500, MLB All-Star Game, UFC and the World Series. The CD also develops original concepts and pitches for campaigns and works with in-house and out-of-house designers to develop pitch frames, work with directors, talent and production crews to execute shoots. The CD must also find and develop relationships with outside Motion Graphic houses, VFX houses, 3D studios, and other vendors and studios.

Originate ideas and concepts, develop pitches, oversee and supervise all aspects of original promo spot and campaign creation for Fox Sports Marketing, including design, music, visual effects, animation, and graphic applications;
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead the timely delivery of several high profile creative jobs for major sports events and show launches;
Build campaigns through images, understand graphic language to write scripts, guide designers, animators and producers, select and partner with directors, and work with talent and successfully oversee all stages of production of new commercials and promos airing across our networks;
Continuously research and recommend outside vendors, production companies, designers, etc. to build a catalog of appropriate collaborators for us to approach with new work;
Exhibit the ability to work fast under tight deadlines as well as proactively and efficiently supervise project timelines both in-house and external teams.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a lead creative role within an Advertising Agency, Broadcast/Cable Network, Post or VFX house, 3D Studio or related environment;
5 years of related experience in commercial filmmaking or feature filmmaking is preferred;
Demonstrated success leading creative teams of Writer/Producers, Associate Producers, Production Assistants; track record of training and grooming support staff for more senior roles is highly preferred;
Good organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Proven creative and conceptual thinking required;
Must possess advanced communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills in addition to good interpersonal skills;
Must be technically proficient in MS Suite and other basic office skills; experience with creative design applications and editing systems is a plus;
Bachelor's degree in Film, TV Production, Communications or related field.
