Under direction of an underwriting leader, reviews commercial policies, commitments, and endorsements varying from routine to complex. Responsible for evaluating difficult and complex loan applications. May include team lead responsibilities which include training, assigning, and overseeing the work of lower level underwriters

-Underwrites complex commitments, policies and endorsements
-Receives files and reviews information and documentation to assure information is accurate and correct. Contacts attorney or appropriate party if necessary to request additional documentation.
-May supervise lower level underwriters in preparation of policies, commitments, and endorsements.
Basic Qualifications:
-A Bachelor's degree or Military experience
-At least 5 years of Commercial Underwriting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-Completion of a formal credit training program
