The Director of Power Electronics is responsible for leading the Power Electronics system (power electronics and motors) product development, including system requirement engineering, control strategies, simulation, hardware/software development, calibration and integration efforts.
Furthermore, the Director of Power Electronics is leading system validation and homologation.
The Director of Power Electronics will report to the VP, Electrification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and roll out processes and methods for Power Electronics system product development.
Decide the way of developing each of Power Electronics system component, in-house vs outsourcing.
Schedule the development plan for each of the Power Electronics system component, in time and with quality to support vehicle program timing.
Create/manage the budget plan for Power Electronics department.
Develop/manage the staffing plan for Power Electronics department.
Deliver the Power Electronics system components to support different vehicle development stages, including SOP.
REQUIREMENTS:

Master degree in engineering or related field.
8+ years of managing managers experience preferable in an automotive environment.
12+ years of engineering experience preferable in an automotive environment.
Knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO TS 16949 standards.
People/Budget management skill.
Proven success in high-pace environment which demands adaptiveness and flexibility.
