APCO Worldwide, a global strategic communication firm, is seeking a SVP/Senior Director level individual with 15 or more years of experience to lead its Global Solutions practice in our Washington, D.C. office.

Provides strategic leadership and manages all aspects of the Global Solutions Practice in Washington, D.C. including working with APCO peers across the global network;
Provides counsel to APCO clients, colleagues and other business leaders as it relates to the growth of the practice;
Maintains a highly active external network; playing a pivotal role in marketing the firm and pursuing new business development opportunities;
Demonstrates experience managing complex, international projects across time zones and working to tight deadlines;
Oversees and manages multiple projects, empowering team members to deliver client success while ensuring profitability;
Manages a portfolio of client projects; manages and supervises P&L;
Builds, leads and mentors teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred;
A background in foreign policy with a minimum of 15 years’ experience spanning government, the private sector and/or academia;
Significant political connectivity in U.S. government and foreign policy communities;
Strong expertise in international political communications and government relations;
Solid project management and budgeting experience;
Exceptional writing skills; strong presentation skills;
Highly collaborative leadership style
