Providing a clear visibility to the capital investments we plan to make as well as the ongoing operational costs of managing physical space and services for our WHQ workplace environments.
Leading the WHQ financial planning process, starting with our 3-year strategic planning process all the way through to our final fiscal year operating budget. Throughout the planning and operating cycle you’ll be the finance voice at the table as WHQ investments move through our capital investment approval process and you’ll ensure they’re clearly connected to strategy and financial expectations have been appropriately scrutinized.
Facilitating a robust performance management and reporting process throughout the fiscal year to ensure we deliver against our financial commitments and can dynamically re-allocate resources as necessary.
Working closely with the controlling function to ensure the appropriate application of our accounting policies as we make prioritized investments in our corporate real estate and services.
Overseeing the funding model for our WHQ workplace related investments – balancing a center-led strategy with the need to keep business partners aligned around optimizing investment against our most important corporate goals.
You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to influence executive leadership with clear and concise fact-based analysis to drive action. As a people manager you will need to be able to set a vision and prioritize deliverables across a complex body of work. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business related-field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
10 years' experience in accounting, financial analysis or another related field. An advanced degree or CPA designation is acceptable in lieu of 2 years’ experience.
5 years of experience working for a multinational consumer products company. Experience in Real Estate and/or Construction is a plus.
5 years of people management and team development experience
Exposure to accounting and finance systems preferred (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or COGNOS)
Excellent knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis and strategic planning concepts.
Extensive experience in creating and managing multi-year investment cases.
Ability to exercise high degree of professionalism and comfort engaging at an executive level including advanced presentation skills.
Advanced level of proficiency using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
