Responsible for the financial planning process within the VW Controlling team and the overall entity ensuring the overall financial requirements and the development, set up and design of a pricing function according to Volkswagen of America standards.

Responsible for the aggregation and verification of the area controllers reports for Marketing & Sales. Information is condensed with enterprise information into a single report for in-depth analysis. Guidance is then provided, together with the VP Group Controlling & Accounting, CFO Volkswagen of America and the VW Leadership team.
Implement a reporting format that reflects the Volkswagen of America requirements for an integrated reporting system that ensures a fast, consistent & transparent reporting to steer the business of Volkswagen of America.
Role Responsibilities
Lead all VW Controlling & Finance Team responsibilities.
Responsible for the development, design and implementation of an adequate system following VWoA AG procedures and “best-of-benchmark” practices, which allows a proper reporting process & commitment control as well as a proper forecasting of incentive money and related expenses spend.
Pricing function including analysis of prices and margins.
Responsible for the development, design and implementation of headcount control, including consultancy services and advice.
Responsible for the overall budgeting process and the commitment control, in close relationship with the team leader controlling, using check and balance procedures, four-eye-principles and early warning processes.
Responsible for the development of 5 year planning round financial forecast incorporating inputs from all business areas and target implementation assigned from VW AG and NAR counterparts
Alignment of financial processes between NSC, NAR, and VW AG
Develop monthly, transparent and consistent forecasts, in U.S. and German formats.
Provide analysis and variance reporting monthly according to the requirements of VWoA.
Monitor Service Level agreements with affiliated departments or vendors.
Support Senior Management of Brand VW and Finance on strategy or operational projects as required.
Develop and implement major Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Develop and implement financial input into the business review meetings for the U.S. strategy.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting Degree

MBA
Qualifications - Required
SAP Finance experience
Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel & SAP
