AMD’s Radeon Technologies Group is looking for a PR master craftsperson to drive press coverage, technical reviews and engagements with new media globally, while overseeing and inspiring a high performing global team. The successful candidate must be a highly driven and experienced PR professional with a track record of building innovative, integrated PR programs for new and/or established hardware, software and gaming brands, working with a diverse array of partners.

Direct and manage PR campaigns including major product/technology launches and product promotions
Work closely with key stakeholders to create appropriate, timely deliverables for the various press and digital audiences
Develop and implement strategic positioning and messaging platforms, execute PR plans, and define budgetary parameters
Define campaign objectives, target audiences, strategies, creative deliverables, timeline, and ROI measurement; secure executive and regional support
Drive cross-functional teams to execute key campaign strategies, tactics and deliverables
Drive regular communications to track status and measurement
Create and manage execution of supporting PR campaign creative materials
Direct and inspire a team of world-class PR pros, including both direct staff and a large ‘dotted line’ organization.

Bachelor's degree in PR, marketing, journalism or related field, 15 years' PR experience in a corporate or agency environment, including 10 years’ experience in PC industry technology PR
Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and self-prioritize workload
Proven track record in counseling senior management on comms strategy
Strong global database of media contacts
Ability to articulate highly technical product information in general terms
Strong direct and cross-functional leadership capabilities
The ability to work effectively under deadline and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative thinker, fast learner and the ability to communicate ideas effectively, impeccable organizational skills
Versatile with a strong character and a strong team orientation
Excellent presentation, writing and editing skills; rigorous attention to detail and quality
Experience working in Greater China markets a plus
Ability to travel internationally and extensively up to 50% of time and "flex" work schedule as required
