Sodexo has an opportunity for a Director, Labor Program Management. This role can be located in Williamsville, NY or performed remotely (note: candidates working in locations other than the Williamsville, NY office may be required to travel to that office up to 50% of the time).
Watch: Career Advice This position is the central point of contact responsible for coordinating and reporting on project adherence with time-lines, budgets, methodologies, IS&T standards, etc. Ensures proper business involvement on all projects and that business requirements are clear and meet minimum standards for clarity and validation. Establishes and documents key PMO metrics to ensure on-time delivery, conformance to requirements and scope, quality metrics attained, and budget is met. Develops key PMO work processes to achieve performance and integrate into existing processes as appropriate. Identifies projects with elements of risk and raises awareness with senior leadership through executive briefings. Responsible for CLEAR compliance and IS&T Management testing. Regularly performs assessment of ROI for major investment projects. Establishes and manages project budgets, tracks expenses, and performs forecasting, plus tracks capital expenditures and expenses of projects against budget. Acts as a resource for project management mentoring and training.
Optimizes system performance, configuration and support of end user outcomes and usability. Supports Labor Program objectives and education on best practice solutions for Kronos Workforce Central. The incumbent will drive behaviors and rigor in control of IT standards and Operational Excellence standards while creating sustainable configuration team approach. Tracking, documenting and driving adoption, proper use, and compliance with enterprise labor staffing and cost management processes, tools and systems (e.g., e-time. labor scheduling systems, staffing charts, etc.). Working closely with the Change Management Team, Market and Operations Support teams to identify, develop, execute and support the change strategy relative to the business. Ensuring long-lasting design and processes are embedded in the configuration team and design of modules to which the incumbent is assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with program leaders, Kronos, ADP and Sodexo IT to develop, execute, and maintain documentation, optimization and support of NorAm’s labor initiative, particularly as it drives adoption and accountability (usability) of expected behaviors within the operating markets. In addition, coordinates with the IT change control process to develop action plans to maximize system uptime and decrease user experienced system issues.
Works closely with labor team operations support, payroll, benefits and help desk teams to train, education and ensure they have a clear understanding of expectations, are well informed, and have the right information and support to comply with what they are being asked to do
Provides regular reporting, insight, advice and guidance to labor program leaders on system issues, compliance and risks and issues in order to create visibility and transparency related to labor program effectiveness and compliance.
Serves as an integral member of the overall NorAm labor team by providing feedback and insight to the NorAm labor leader and will heavily collaborates with deployment, configuration, change control and other subject matter experts in order to identify and leverage best practices for labor compliance across NorAm with the goal of standardization where possible
Actively participates in project team work sessions in order to contribute to developing optimal outcomes for all project phases
Works with training resources to drive the successful remediation and training related to Work Force Central, time clocks, Workforce Analytics and expected employee behaviors in units where they have been implemented
Ensures that operations leaders and unit managers understand how to effectively use the Workforce Management system
Works with a Payroll and ADP and other resources within the scope of work to enable them to function as change champions, subject matter experts and local support resources for overall program success
Monitors Kronos SLA’s and labor system performance and develops and executes appropriate action plans that mitigate unfavorable trends
Support the business analytic needs that drive visibility and improvement in the business for clock punch percentage, worked vs. scheduled hours, actual hours vs. budget, and other key labor metrics as part of the overall work force management effort. Constantly monitor and communicate trending on KPI’s (within the Kronos program) associated with Labor Cost and Productivity.
Travels to visit Gaithersburg, Buffalo and other venues to work directly with management team members to provide coaching, training and to communicate expectations and compliance items that drive or impact labor performance and compliance.
Supports the overall Kronos effort by assisting with communications and training in a variety of venues including virtual, classroom, team meetings and on site at units
In the long-term will work with system deployment of budgeting and forecasting teams to provide market specific insight in order to develop optimal unit level labor targets
Works with analytics and standards resources to establish labor standards within the business and works with operators to understand those standards and to staff the business accordingly
Analyze research and troubleshoot to solve complex implementation and management issues.

Position Summary
Leads efforts to achieve contract requirement compliance for large, complex Government contracts. Integrates strategic direction and prioritization of issues involving internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for monitoring completion of required deliverables and meeting customer contracted expectations. Provides direct interface to Government PMOffice. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Maintains and leads program team integration, accountability and prioritization of assigned activities. Ensures timely planning and completion of program level activities. Act as point of contact for internal and external issue resolution. Initiates timely and targeted escalations for unresolved issues. Leads the development, delivery and support of the Government Services Program Management Office Center of Excellence. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree
Basic Functional Experience - 5-8 years of experience in program management or a related field.
