This role will take Gartner’s HR Data Science to the next level by directing the vision, building up the capabilities, and leading C-Level priority initiatives.

What you’ll do:
Build strong HR Data Science Competency: Develop strategy, build roadmap, and implement future state of HR Data Science. Maintain external view on the state of the art, key trends, and best practices
Prioritize and lead existing high profile Data Science projects: Proactively identify, prioritize, and rally organization around additional Data Science opportunities based on business strategy.
Advise and support other efforts that would benefit from Data Science: Prioritize and develop appropriate engagement model to support other efforts, ad hoc analytics, and leadership questions.
Provide Advanced Analytics team leadership and mentoring across People Analytics & Operations.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:
Masters or PhD in a quantitative research field preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Mathematics, etc.).
7+ years of progressive business experience,
5+ years of HR Analytics, Data Science, or Business Analytics
Experience leading cross-functional project teams who deliver successful outcomes

Analytical thinker who has experience and proficiency with various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, R, MatLab, Mathematica), data modeling, databases, and application servers
Strong communication skills to translate complicated analytics into easily understood actionable recommendations
Highly motivated person who takes ownership and initiative to deliver business outcomes
