The Director of HR Technology will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of a technology roadmap specific to their areas of responsibility. Initially, conducting a vendor landscape assessment focused on Compensation and Analytics providers. Compare the vendor offerings with our current in house solutions and develop the strategy to replace or consolidate. Work closely with HR business partners to understand their long term strategic vision for the digital employee experience and construct a corresponding technology roadmap that will be rooted in the implementation of a new cloud based HRMS.

This role will have significant responsibility for leading a major enterprise wide HCM cloud source and selection process and own the technology portion of the resulting implementation. This position will be responsible for $15 million annual budget and 40+ direct and indirect reports. The role requires the ability to work in a demanding environment, a strong command of HR domain knowledge, excellent communication/relationship skills and the requisite technology background. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead a project governance board that will oversee the intake of project requests and dissemination of available funding. The ability to influence senior leadership is critical along with demonstrated experience managing multiple large scale vendor partners. Additional responsibilities will include the providing technical thought leadership of the following HR functions: Compensation, Global Benefits, Reporting and Analytics. Demonstrated experience with a major SaaS provider is critical to the success of this role.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have:
10+ years of experience in managing global development organizations and implementing global HR solutions
Domain knowledge of Human Resources with subject matter expertise in the domains outlined above
Ability to develop and execute an HR technical roadmap for a complex global organization
Understanding of Agile methodology is preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to influence outcomes and motivate teams of people toward goals
Experience in dealing with executive committee level senior management and communicating in their language
Financial budget management experience of budgets of $15 million and up
Proven track record of building strong talented teams with the requisite technical and domain expertise
The ability to innovate and lead with new technology to derive and deliver value
A demonstrated track record of building strong and trusting relationships with all relevant areas of the organization
The ability to execute/deliver with a sense of urgency and act decisively
Strong management skills and the ability to lead a multi-location team of employees, nonemployees
Strong vendor management skills
Experience with mobile and SaaS technology/solutions
Strong understanding of the Human Capital Management technology marketplace and available solutions
Former Big 4 consulting experience is a plus
