Minted is seeking a talented, highly analytical and passionate Director, Manufacturing Operations. This individual will play a critical role in the running and scaling of an on-demand printing operation to support a fast growing online art and home décor business. He/she must be process and detail oriented, quality minded and understand the needs of an efficient and high quality operation. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, great with data and a creative problem solver who enjoys being a team leader in a fast paced, changing environment. This position is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsible for leading a manufacturing facility and driving operational excellence on a daily basis
Lead a team to achieve and exceed performance goals in on-time delivery and product quality
Develop and be responsible for tracking COGS and finding ways to save cost without sacrificing quality
Develop and implement an inventory tracking system that can scale with the facility and overall needs of the business
Develop a strategy and align with key cross functional partners to ensure successful peak season
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for manufacturing and production processes
Lead and manage a diverse population of employees; drive engagement, retention, performance management, development, change management, and hiring
Work with the Operations Team and other cross functional teams to launch new products and new verticals
Develop strong partnerships with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
Ensure that safety standards and practices are being upheld at all times
Control facility budget and inventory accuracy
Build a culture of high customer satisfaction
Ensure cultural alignment and strong integration with corporate office
Experience and Skills
8+ years of operations experience with a track record of leading successful and high performing teams
Excellent communication skills: able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to a diverse audience
Extremely detail and results oriented
Excellent eye for product quality and operational efficiency
Excellent project management skills
Excellent judgment: able to make sound judgments based on tradeoffs of different solutions, complex problems, various stakeholders and constraints.
Strong interpersonal skills: can communicate effectively and build strong relationships with diverse audiences
Able to work alternate shifts including weekends and/or holidays as needed during peak production periods/seasonal
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably from a top tier school/supply chain program
